Mizzou softball took down Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville 8-0 in five innings Tuesday in Edwardsville, Illinois. Pitcher Cierra Harrison allowed no hits while punching out six in the Tigers' shutout win. The effort marked Harrison's first no-hitter as a starter since Feb. 16, 2024.

The Tigers offense rolled early, scoring five runs in the first inning. Stefania Abruscato started the scoring off a two-run homer to right field, scoring Addy Waits who singled on the previous at-bat. Sidney Forrester singled, eventually scoring on a single from Abby Carr. Sophie Smith hit a single next before Madison Uptegrove scored the two baserunners to give Mizzou a 5-0 lead in the opening frame.
