Mizzou goalkeeper Kate Phillips (1) makes a save against SLU’s Caroline Chier (17) on Thursday at Audrey J. Walton Stadium in Columbia. Phillips recorded seven saves during the game.

Mizzou soccer failed to defend home turf against the Saint Louis Billikens on Thursday, dropping the contest 1-0 to move to 1-1-1 on the season. 

Although the Tigers lost the match, they did set a new program record with 2,234 fans in attendance, many of which may be at least partially credited to the new student ticket system that incentivizes students to attend Mizzou sporting events to increase chances of landing football and men's basketball student tickets. The previous program attendance record was 1,926 fans.
