GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Shannon Newth with Visit Great Falls and Bradley Warren talked three community events coming up in the Electric City, including a downtown mural festival, a River’s Edge Trail walk and a new exhibit at The History Museum.
Great Walls begins Sunday, August 16 and continues through August 23 in downtown Great Falls. Visit Great Falls also shares that the latest episode of its We’re No Dam Experts podcast focuses on the mural festival. More information on Great Walls is available here.
The festival also includes the Great Walls Block Party on Thursday, August 20 from 5-8 p.m. It is planned behind the Times Square Building at 525 Central Ave.
Another event on the schedule is the Luminaria Walk on Friday, August 21 starting at 7 p.m. Organizers say the event celebrates River’s Edge Trail with 1,500 bags filled with sand and lights. More information on the walk is available here.
The History Museum also plans an exhibit opening on Friday, August 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. The exhibit is titled Voices of our Ancestors: The Records of St. Peter’s Mission.
