(The Center Square) - Voters in Florida will head to the polls to elect partisan representatives in races that could determine the balance of Congress in November.

Florida is one of 10 states across the country that has participated in rare mid-decade redistricting in order to favor a particular political party. With a Republican trifecta in state leadership, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis pushed forward a map that would favor Republicans in Congress.
