Mizzou safety Trajen Greco (4) lines up for a tackle drill

Mizzou’s defense has contributed to the team’s resurgence across the last three seasons. During that time frame, the Tigers have ranked top 30 in points allowed per game. In the two years under defensive coordinator Corey Batoon, they have finished inside the top 20.

“(We are) making sure that we are constantly doing things that we’ve done from a positive standpoint,” Batoon said. “Making sure that we don’t jump and assume that those things are taken care of because those are the things that get you beat.”
