BATON ROUGE, La. — The Southeastern Conference will no longer consider expelling LSU after the university agreed to comply with league roster rules, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

SEC chancellors and presidents had faced a scheduled meeting Thursday where LSU’s expulsion was a possibility. However, the conference backed off the threat after LSU President Wade Rousse confirmed the university would follow conference roster limits. The SEC still plans to hold its Thursday meeting, but the expulsion is no longer on the agenda.
