Mizzou soccer's Rylie Morse was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday following a goal and an assist against Texas A&M.
Morse is the first Tiger to take home the award since Kylee Simmons in 2023. She is the fifth Mizzou athlete and first MU freshman to win the honor.
Her effort Thursday helped the Tigers keep their postseason hopes alive. She knocked in a shot to score in the waning seconds of the first half. Then, less than a minute into the second half, her free kick assisted the game-winning goal.
The freshman now leads the Tigers in assists with four and is tied for the team-best mark in goals, also with four.
Morse and the Tigers face LSU in a win-and-in regular-season finale at noon Sunday at Audrey J. Walton Stadium.
