Mizzou women's golf celebrates advancing to NCAA Championship

The Mizzou women's golf team celebrates advancing to the NCAA Championship for the second time in program history and first time since 2005. The Tigers rallied for third during the final round to place fifth overall in the Stanford regional.

Mizzou women’s golf made program history Wednesday, earning its second-ever NCAA Championship berth after finishing fifth at the NCAA Stanford Regional. MU advanced for the first time since 2005.

The Tigers ended the three-day regional at 8 over par at Stanford Golf Course. Missouri shot 6 over in the first round, even par in the second round and 2 over in the final round to stay inside the cut line.
