Missouri completes first SEC sweep since 2024 with 6-4 win over Auburn

Missouri completed the sweep Sunday against Auburn, winning 6-4 in a back-and-forth game at the Jane B. Moore Field in Alabama. The sweep marks both the first SEC series win of the season for Missouri, but also its first conference series sweep since 2024.

Auburn struck first early in the first inning, capitalizing on a Missouri error to pick up a 1-0 lead. Missouri answered in the top of the third, after Stefania Abruscato hit a two-run home run to right field, driving in Addy Waits who started the inning with a walk.
