One day after four former Mizzou Tigers were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, another pair heard their names called.
Former Mizzou wideout Kevin Coleman Jr. was selected in the fifth round (No. 177 overall) by the Miami Dolphins, while former MU cornerback Toriano Pride Jr. was taken in the seventh round (No. 220 overall) by the Buffalo Bills.Â
Coleman Jr. will join former Mizzou wide Theo Wease Jr., who had six receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown this past season with the Dolphins.Â
Coleman Jr., once a standout at St. Mary's High School in St. Louis, spent one season at MU, where he led the Tigers in receptions (66) and receiving yards (732). He also had a 67-yard punt return touchdown in the regular-season finale against Arkansas. Prior to Mizzou, Coleman Jr. spent one season apiece at Jackson State, Louisville and Mississippi State.Â
Pride Jr., who also grew up in St. Louis, transferred to Mizzou after two seasons at Clemson. In two seasons with MU, Pride Jr. had 46 total tackles and four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.Â
In total, Mizzou had six players picked in this year's draft. Former edge rusher Zion Young, linebacker Josiah Trotter, defensive tackle Chris McClellan and offensive tackle Keagen Trost were each selected on Day 2 of the draft.Â
The Tigers also had a handful of former players sign with teams as undrafted free agents (UDFAs). Cornerback Drey Norwood signed with the Rams, and cornerback Stephen Hall signed with the Houston Texans, per Aaron Wilson.Â
