(The Center Square) – With early voting having already started for the upcoming midterm elections, congressional Republicans are touting the tax policies in their so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act that became law last year.

In a field hearing Tuesday, Republican lawmakers on the House Ways and Means Committee pushed back against mounting criticism from Democrats who accuse them of failing to address the high cost of living.

HELENA, Mont. – The midterm election is quickly approaching, with more than half a million in-state absentee ballots slated to go out to Montana voters this Friday.
