(The Center Square) - Aclara Resources announced it has received a letter of interest from the Export-Import Bank of the United States for up to $750 million in financing for Project Dynamo, the company’s proposed rare earths processing plant at the Port of Vinton.

Vancouver-based Aclara said in April it expects to spend approximately $277 million to build the plant, where heavy rare earths are to be extracted from ores produced at mines in Brazil and Chile.
