(The Center Square) – Polling deficit, disapproval of the president, and recent shifts in campaign strategy by super PACs are evolving a dynamic that further favors Democrat Roy Cooper over Republican Michael Whatley in North Carolina’s election for a seat in the U.S. Senate.

However, Whatley’s campaign tells The Center Square any raising of a white flag, as one left-leaning publication wrote early Thursday, are false and in fact there is strategy inclusive of five events over the next seven days, statewide campaigning aggressively, and welcoming both President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance anytime they wish to visit.
