They’re the epitome of “doing good in the ‘hood.”

Chicago-born-and-bred entrepreneurs Damon Patton and Jamhal Johnson launched Moor’s Brewing Co. on Juneteenth 2021, and they’ve been mad busy ever since, aggressively getting their products onto shelves all across the city. To date, Moor’s can be found in more than 100 venues throughout Chicagoland, from Tilly’s Pit & Pub in the south suburbs to the Four Seasons Hotel on the Magnificent Mile. It’s also in nine Binny’s liquor stores. This is a first for a Black-owned beer brand.
